Salvation

Everything in the universe was created by God. That includes human beings. Man was created according to God's image and likeness. 

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."(Genesis 1:26).

Human beings were not a result of evolution. God created the universe. But it so happened that man fell into sin after the temptation by the devil. 

"Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons."(Genesis 3:1-7).

That is how man fell and sin entered the earth. The nature of God was lost from human beings. They inherited the sin nature. All those who were born to Adam became sinners from birth. The good news is that God did not fold His arms in heaven. He immediately started working on a plan to save man. The plan was to have someone come down from heaven who had no sin nature as man could not save himself. This was because Satan had taken all the authority over all that was no earth. He took the absolute authority that had been given to Adam. So man was under his dominion no matter what he tried.

Jesus came down born of a woman as promised. That was the plan that God had been working on since the fall of man. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."(John 3:16). This just requires faith in the finished work of Jesus. You do not need to try and be good. Trying to be good is not acceptable as a means to be saved. We become good because of His salvation.

We have salvation through Jesus Christ. We have eternal life. No one can go to God without Jesus Christ. "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."(John 14:16). So that is only one way to God and that is Jesus Christ. You do not have to pay any money for that. Jesus paid for our sin. He dealt with the issue of sin once and for all. It does not matter who you are. He loves you.

Accept Jesus if you are not yet saved. Say the following prayer:

"Father I come to you in the Name of Jesus Christ. Forgive me of my sin. Wash it away by the Blood of Jesus. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and I believe that you raised Him from the dead. I accept Him as my Lord and Saviour.

Thank you for forgiving me. I am now your child and you are my Father. Thank you Lord for your salvation. In Jesus Name. Amen!"
