Jesus Is Everything You Need

With Jesus in your life, all is sorted. You have all the answers to any challenge of your life. According to John 14:4-9, the Bible says, "And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?"

As Jesus neared the end of His ministry, He spoke more of the Father. The yearning of the heart of man was revealed by Philip when he requested to be shown the Father. It had not dawned to him that the Father was unfolded before his eyes. There was no need for thunder and lightning. The Father was in Jesus. He was very near. This proves the disciples needed the Holy Spirit to reveal who Jesus was. Let us now look at who Jesus was:

1. The way

The answer Jesus gave to all of man's troubles and problems was simply to "believe." Jesus is the sinner's Way to the Father and to heaven. What do we mean by a 'way'? One of the dictionaries gives this definition, "a route or road that you take in order to reach a place." With Jesus in your life, you can reach any destiny you have for your life. With Him you will never go astray. He is 'the Way'. No one can lead you to true life except Him.

Through the hand of Moses God opened a way for the Israelites before the Red Sea. They were surrounded by mountains of the sides, Pharoah's army behind and the Red Sea before them. In the natural, they were finished. But they were under open heavens.
I now decree open heavens over you life now in the Name of Jesus. Whatever was blocking your path, it is now cleared in the name of the Lord Almighty. A dry path has been opened before you now.

2. The Truth

Jesus is Truth. In Him there is no deception. God is always true and His Word is truth. Only the devil is a deceiver. He was a deceiver from the very beginning. He used the trap of deception to Even in the garden of  Eden. But you shall not fall into the trap of deception. What God promises, He fulfills. He is not a man that he should lie. So you can trust Him.

In John 8:31-32 Jesus says, "Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
A true disciple of Jesus abides and continues in the Word. Are you a true disciple of Jesus? If not, you can decide today. You can be saved. Now, it is important you you know the truth. It is the truth you know that will set you FREE. Jesus and His Word are one.

I the Name of Jesus, I decree freedom in your life now. Be free in Jesus Name. Whatever had bound you, it is broken right now. Receive your freedom. We saw the faithfulness of God in the Prophet Elijah's life when he was with Baal's prophets. Each group was to call his God to consume a sacrifice to show who was a true God. Baal did not respond to his prophets' cries. But when Elijah called his God, He immediately answered by fire. He is a consuming fire. May the answer you have been praying for be released now in Jesus Name!
We serve a faithful God. You can trust Him.

3. The Life

Jesus does not just give life, He is the Life. With Him in your life, you have eternal life. In John 11:25 Jesus said to Martha, "...I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live." Jesus had been told that Martha's brother Lazarus was dead. So Martha thought of the resurrection as something that wold happen at the end of time. But Jesus was talking of the now. He was not talking of an event. But He was the resurrection. Where He was, there was a resurrection.
Jesus then went to where Lazarus had been buried and commanded the people to remove the stone. The Bible then records, "And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth."(John 11:43).
Whatever was considered dead in your life, I command it now to come back to life, in Jesus Name. I release the resurrection power of God to flow now. Your dreams are coming back to life. Every part of your body is coming back to life now, in Jesus Name. Halelujah! As Lazarus was restored back to life so does everything that pertains to your life. Just believe. Nothing shall be impossible with him who believes.

Friend, Jesus is everything you need. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Walk in that Way. Believe that Truth and live that Life. In Jesus Name. Hallelujah!

Fear The Lord with All Your Heart

1Sa 13:13  And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.
1Sa 15:19  Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?
1Sa 15:20  And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.
1Sa 15:21  But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.
1Sa 15:22  And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
1Sa 15:23  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
1Sa 15:24  And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

Saul made an unlawful sacrifice to the Lord because of fear of the Philistines. That landed him in trouble since that was only reserved for the Prophet to perform. He was then judged that his kingdom would end. That meant it would not last forever.
What do we learn from this story of King Saul?

1. God demands total obedience

God had commanded Saul to destroy the Amalekites including their flock. But Saul spared some and did not kill Agag the king. As a result of King Saul's disobedience, God rejected him as king of Israel. Kingship in his line ended with him. It did not extend to his children.

We learn that Saul feared the people more than he feared God. The Bible tells us that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever."(Psalm 111:10).

Now it is far better to be on God's side than to be on man's side. Obey God fully. That means doing what He tells you to do. According to the Bible, Jesus asked some one day and said, "Why do you call me Lord, Lord and do not do what I tell you to do?" If you say Jesus is Lord of your life, always do what He commands you to do.

Disobedience shall not be your portion in Jesus Name!

2. God is looking for a person after His own heart

After the unlawful sacrifice performed by Saul, Samuel told Saul that his kingdom had ended and it would be taken by another man. God had sought and found a man after His own heart and that was David.
David feared and loved God since his youth. He was obedient to God. He was after God's heart.

Now, are you after God's heart? We also learn of Joseph who feared the Lord with all his heart.
Gen 39:7  And it came to pass after these things, that his master's wife cast her eyes upon Joseph; and she said, Lie with me.
Gen 39:8  But he refused, and said unto his master's wife, Behold, my master wotteth not what is with me in the house, and he hath committed all that he hath to my hand;
Gen 39:9  There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God?

He acknowledged that sin was sin before God. Even though no one was seeing Joseph and the wife of his Master, he knew that God saw every where and nothing was hidden before Him. God's eyes are every where. Satan always wants to destruct believers destinies by making them to sin before God.

Always seek that which pleases God your Creator. Give Him the whole of your heart. He wants to be with you all the time. He is a loving and caring God. He did it all through Jesus.

Fear the Lord with all your heart. By so doing, you will walk in wisdom. God demands total obedience. He is looking for a person after His own heart. God bless you in Jesus Name!

How to Release the Life of God that is in You

2Pe 1:1  Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:
2Pe 1:2  Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
2Pe 1:3  According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
2Pe 1:4  Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

God the Creator of the heavens and the earth loves you. He really cares about you. Jesus came to the earth because God wanted to put His life in us. The Lord will never harm you. He is not an author of evil. You already have the life of God in you if you are a child of God. We shall learn some important truths from the portion of scripture we have read above.

1. God restored His nature in you.

When we received Jesus Christ as Lord over our lives, we received the nature of God. We received the faith of God and that is why we were able to believe in Him. He gave us His faith. The Apostle Peter says, "to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." We obtained the same faith that was received by the Apostles. The faith that Jesus used to raise Lazarus from the dead is in us i.e. the faith of Jesus. The faith that Peter used to raise Dorcas from the dead, we have. The faith the the Apostle Paul had, we received. In Galatians 2:20 he says, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."(Emphasis mine). Even Paul lived by the faith of Jesus Christ.

The nature of God was restored when you received Jesus Christ as Lord. In 2 Corinthians 5:17, Paul says, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." When you got born again, you spirit was miraculously born anew. Old things in your spirit left. This is referring to your spirit not your soul and body. In your born again spirit you are exactly like Jesus. That is why the Bible tells us, "As He (Jesus) is in heaven so are we in this world.." Your spirit does not grow up. You were 100% changed. Your spirit will never change, so the spirit you have is exactly the same spirit you will have in heaven. So what do we mean when we say grow up spiritually? Basically, what we mean is that you should grow in your soul mainly the mind or the way you think. That is why Romans 12:2 says, " And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." You see that? So the nature of God is in your spirit.

2. You have all that pertains to life and godliness

"Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue."(2 Peter 1:2-3).

The Holy Spirit deposited all that you will ever need in life in your spirit when you got born again. His divine power gave to us all things that pertain to life and godliness. So whatever you need, you have. If a good marriage pertains to life, you have. If finances pertain to life, you have. If the christian life needs special power to be successful, you have. Where is it? It is in your born again spirit. The Bible says we were given all these things to be partakers of the divine nature.

3. Release God's life

Now, it is time to let the divine life in you flow to your soul and body. How? Among other ways this can be done, let me highlight two ways it can be done:

1) Pray more in the spirit
According to Jude 20, the Bible says, "But you, dear friends, must continue to build your most holy faith for your own benefit. Furthermore, continue to pray in the Holy Spirit." When you pray in the Holy spirit you build your faith. You energize yourself. This is for your benefit. What is praying in the Holy spirit? The Bible speaks for itself and says,
"For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.
What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also."
(1Corinthians 14:2,14-15).

If you pray in tongues, your spirit is praying. So you pray in the spirit and also pray in your known or learned tongue (language). So as you pray more in the spirit, you release the life of God that is in your born again spirit. Tongues are a language of your born again spirit given by the Holy spirit to communicate with God. So use that language and there are many advantages of using it.

2) Speak the Word of God
"Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth."(Proverbs 6:2). As a believer, learn to use your tongue right. You are snared or hindered and caught by your words. God and the devil are both after your tongue. The enemy the devil wants you to speak words that contradict the Word of God i.e. to speak unbelief. The words of your mouth either tie or release you.

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."(Proverbs 18:21). With your tongue you can release life or death. Anything that does not glorify God is death because it is a result of sin. Sickness, sinning, and poverty represent death. They are not of God.
The good news is that, these things can change from today in Jesus Name. Those that love the tongue shall eat its fruits. That means those who use it shall reap results. So be skillful in using your tongue. Words are important. Do not take them lightly. Where we are and what we are today is a result of our use of words. Words have a creative force. So you can create your own life today.

"And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith."(Mark 11:12-14,20-23).

Jesus spoke words to a fig tree and it responded. Withing 24 hours it had dried up completely. Why did the fig tree respond to words? It is because all that we see was created by words. Hebrews 11:3 says, "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."
So anything that you do not want or desire in your life, let it dry up now in Jesus Name. And it shall be so. Hallelujah! Jesus then told the disciples about the power of spoken words. Whatever one says shall come to pass if he speaks without doubting. Words are powerful. So use words skillfully and you reap reap desired results. Speak faith-filled words.

God wants you to release the life He put in you. He gave you authority. You have the necessary power to bring changes in your life. God restored the life that was in you from the beginning of time. He has blessed you with all things. The Lord has given you all that pertains to life and godliness. You have His Spirit in you. Speak the Word. God loves you.

Keep the Secret of Your Strength

Jdg 16:1  Sometime later, Samson went to Gaza, saw a prostitute there, and went in to have sex with her.
Jdg 16:2  When the Gazites were informed, "Samson has come here!" they surrounded him, intending to lay in wait for him at the city gate throughout the entire night. They kept quiet all night, telling each other, "At first light, let's kill him!"
Jdg 16:3  Meanwhile, Samson had sex until midnight, then at midnight he got up, grabbed the doors, the two door posts, and the bars of the city gate, and uprooted them. He put them on his shoulders and carried them to the top of the mountain opposite Hebron.
Jdg 16:4  After this incident, he loved a woman in Sorek Valley whose name was Delilah.
Jdg 16:5  The Philistine officials approached her and told her, "Entice him to discover where his great strength is, and how we can overpower him. We intend to tie him up and torture him. We'll each pay you 1,100 silver coins."

Jdg 16:20  When she cried out, "The Philistines are attacking you, Samson!" he woke from his sleep and told himself, "I'll go out like I did at other times like this and shake myself free." But he didn't know that the LORD had abandoned him.
Jdg 16:21  Then the Philistines grabbed him, gouged out his eyes, brought him down to Gaza, tied him up in bronze chains, and made him grind grain in their prison.
Jdg 16:22  But the hair on his head began to grow again after it had been shaved off.

Israel had done evil in the sight of the God and the Lord removed His defense from them. The Philistines became a problem the Israelites for 40 years. There was a man called Manoah whose wife was barren but the appeared  to them and promised a son. The woman was given instructions on how to handle herself during the pregnancy and how to raise their son. When the son was born, he was called 'Samson'. God had said he would deliver the Israelites from the hand of the Philistines.

Now, there are things we learn from the story of Samson about the issue of keeping the secret of your strengths. We get warnings from the scriptures on how to guard ourselves from the enemy.

1. Samson loved Philistine women

The Apostle Paul gave a warning to the believers about relationships with unbelievers in 2 Corinthians 6:16 when he said, "Stop becoming unevenly yoked with unbelievers. What partnership can righteousness have with lawlessness? What fellowship can light have with darkness?" He knew what happens when there is a deep relationship with the ungodly.

Samson did not listen to the warnings of his parents. They asked him if there were no woman of his faith in Israel. But he told them that he loved a certain woman of the Philistines. Listening to godly advice is a good thing because it keeps you from unseen danger. His parents were old and experienced. They had seen things. Lust blinds people. It makes one not to see what others see.

Note that even though Samson did not listen to his parents, God still used him. This is what makes people think they are right even when they are wrong. Remember that God's gifts are without repentance. That means, He does not take them away simply because you are disobedient in some areas. The problem is that the devil will destroy you, not God. If you disobey, you open a door to the devil. The Bible warns us not to give place to the devil. The Bible further tells us that friendship with the world corrupts good conduct.

I now decree that disobedience shall not be your portion, in Jesus Name. You shall listen to godly advice in the Name of the Lord. Hallelujah!

2. Samson meets a harlot Delilah

Delilah was not the first Philistine woman to be in Samson's life. She was used as a trap in the life of Samson. Remember that the enemy the devil does not love you. He is not your friend. He is a deceiver. The devil has been a deceiver from the very beginning and he is good at it. He has one intention, that is to finally destroy you. Remember John 10:10?, "The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." He deceived Adam and Eve in Eden. He still does it today. He tried to tempt Jesus the same way he did to Eve. But Jesus, the King of Kings defeated him. Praise the Lord!

Delilah was used by the leaders of the Philistines to find out the source of Samson's strength so they could destroy him. Samson thought Delilah loved him back yet she was deceptive. The devil was using her. May I tell you that the devil has got no good intentions about your life. Only God has good intentions. That is why Jesus came. He wants to give you eternal life.

Eternal life should be your portion in Jesus Name. Now, Delilah asked Samson on the secret of his strength. For some time Samson deceived her but she did not give trying to get the right answer. Finally, Samson revealed his secret. After he had done that, Delilah knew that he had told her the truth. Now, let me tell you that as you entertain the thoughts of the devil, he will finally find out what makes you strong. The devil does not easily give up on tempting believers. Here is the advice, 'don't entertain the devil.' This is because he will finally defeat you if you are not careful. Samson's hairs were finally cut and the Philistines caught him and removed his eyes and mocked him. The devil wants to destroy you.

I declare that the Hand of the Lord is upon you in Jesus Name. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. Any tongue that rises against you, you shall condemn. It is condemned now, in Jesus Name. Hallelujah!

3. His strength was finally restored

As Samson was kept by the Philistines, he hairs grew so did his strength. The unfortunate part is that his physical eyes were never restored. Do not play with the devil. He is not your friend. Even though God is faithful, the scars are never removed. Some marks of the devil's attack will always be there. Therefore, be on the watch. As his strength was being restored, his prayer was to die with his enemies. That prayer was was answered. He finally destroyed more people than he did when he had his eyes.

However, note that Samson's prayer was not a good one. Never repeat his prayer. He prayed that he would die with his enemies. He did. He should have prayed to have them destroyed and him spared miraculously. The Bible records in Proverbs 6:2, "Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth." You are snared and caught with the words of your mouth. But you can believe better that Samson did. You are in a better covenant. You now know the scriptures better than the people of the Old Covenant.

I now decree that death is not your portion, but life is your portion in Jesus Name.

Believe in God and His Word. Choose your associations wisely. Do the Word and you shall be preserved. If your strength is in prayer keep on praying more and do not allow the enemy to steal your time for prayer. Study the Word of God so you may be strengthened. Do not be empty, but be filled with the Word.

God loves you.

Please God by Believing Him

Heb 11:5 By faith Enoch was taken away without experiencing death. He could not be found, because God had taken him away. For before he was taken, he won approval as one who pleased God. Heb 11:6 Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently search for him.

Allow me to remind you that God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth loves you. He cares deeply about you. He has good thoughts about you, thoughts of peace, not to harm you. In order for Him to help you, He needs your co-operation. That is what Enoch did. Let us learn from Enoch of the Bible.

1. Enoch pleased God

The portion of scripture we read above tells us that Enoch walked with God and he pleased Him. How did he please God? He had faith in Him. For that reason, God was pleased and He decided to take him without experiencing death. The Bible states that Enoch was not found. That means people looked for him. Would you like to be taken by God? To be so close and become one with Him in such a way that when people look at you they just see God? I decree now, in the Name of Jesus Christ that your fellowship with God moves to higher heights. Anything that hinders your closeness to God is destroyed right now, in Jesus NAME.

2. Please God and you shall be rewarded

The question is, 'how can you please God?' The answer is,'By FAITH.' The Bible where we read in Hebrews 11:6 said, "Now without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently search for him."

You only need to apply your faith in God. Believe God's Word. Believe that whatever God has said in His Word is true. Then apply it in your life and all your situations. Believe that by the stripes of Jesus you were healed. Believe that the blessing of the Lord has made you rich and has added no sorrow with it. Believe that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. You can realize the manifestation of whatever you truly believe. Now I decree that your faith in the Word of God is rising. No weapon formed against you shall prosper. In Jesus Name, it is so. Have a great day. May the face of the Lord shine over you.
