All Things are Possible, Just Believe

What is it that you want to achieve in life? Will it make you enjoy life? What does that mean to you? Well, I am happy to tell you that whatever you want to achieve in life is possible. As long as it is your deepest heart desire, you can do it. What makes me say that? You were created in the image and likeness of God. The Holy Scriptures tell us that with God nothing shall be impossible. So if you were created in His image and likeness, it means you have His nature. You are like Him. That original nature was restored through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord. The devil’s nature you received through Adam’s fall was removed. That is if you are a believer in Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life. 2Co 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Let us look at this scripture found in Philippians 4:11-13:

Php 4:11  Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Php 4:12  I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Php 4:13  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Paul the Apostle went through different hardships in his life. All of them were because of His love for God and the Commission Jesus had given him. He did not mind suffering because He so much loved Jesus. What he indicates from the above scripture is that he learned through it all. Lessons in our lives come in different ways. It can help you as a child of God to copy that kind of attitude. Do you know what that kind of attitude leads to? It leads to contentment in life.

Allow yourself to learn from every life situation. Everything that happens to us has a lesson to learn. But if you always complain about bad situations, it means you are not learning from them. Lessons make us wiser than before and enable us to make better decisions in life issues.
In verse 13 above Paul says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”(Modern English). What does that mean? It means anything is possible. That is through Christ. It is through the Lord’s anointing that abides in us. It is the ability we have through the power of God i.e. His Spirit. You have the power of God inside you. You can make things happen in Jesus Name. You can achieve whatever you can conceive in your mind. That is why the Bible says, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he.” You limit yourself through your thoughts. Just believe.

In Matthew 19:26, the Bible says, “But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.” With God on your side, all things are possible. Now, what do you believe? What is the deepest desire of your heart? What do you want to achieve? Now I pray that whatever your heart desires let it be granted now I Jesus Name. Receive whatever that Jesus made a provision for. Take it; it is yours in Jesus Name. See it in your heart. See it with your spiritual eyes happening.

God loves you. Be blessed today in Jesus Name!

The Role of Meditation in Releasing your Faith

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen according to Hebrews 11:1.  In order for it to work for you, faith needs to be released just like a man releases seeds in prepared ground to receive a harvest in due season. Faith is key to your personal victory. Furthermore, it pleases God.

Meditation is about deep consideration, pondering, imagining, and visualizing something. God has given this ability to every man and woman. This is the ability to see things in the invisible. That is seeing with the eye of your heart or spirit.

How can you see results in your life using the Word of God?

“For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.”(Hebrews 4:2).
For Word of God to work for you, mix it with faith. The Old Testament believers heard the Word of God ministered to them just as it is ministered to us. Even though they heard it, it did not profit them. It did not help them. Why? They did not mix it with faith.
In order for Joshua to succeed as a leader of God’s people in the Old Testament, he had to use the Word of God. He was given the Word. The Word of God can help you succeed today. Joshua was instructed as follows:

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”(Joshua 1:8).

Joshua was instructed to observe the Word of God to do according to all (not selected portion) that was written in it. How was that possible? He had to first read and know it. That was possible through meditating on it day and night. He had to see God doing all that He had promised. He had to see that even when his physical eyes were closed. That is meditating. That is visualizing the Word of God. Joshua was promised prosperity and good success as he meditated and then doing the Word of God. If you will read and then visualize or internalize the Word, success will be yours from today onwards in Jesus Name.

Psa 1:1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
Psa 1:2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
Psa 1:3  And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The Psalmist here shows how the Word of God benefits those who meditate in it. That is those who meditate in it day and night. Those who give themselves time with the Word. Those who see the Word and allow it to form what it talks about in their heart and soul. They become like a tree planted by the rivers of water. They never wither. They never dry up. They are ever green. If you will apply this, prosperity is yours in Jesus Name. Beware of evil counsel from the ungodly. Protect yourself from words that disturb your faith. Delight yourself in the Word of God.

Learn to see the Word of God in operation in your heart or spirit. See God at work in your secret place. I believe that God had to first see the universe even before creating them. He saw it before it manifested physically. If you can’t first see what you desire from God having your optical eyes closed, you cannot see it manifesting in the physical.

Allow me to give you three examples:

1) The building of the tower of Babel
Gen 11:4  And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
Gen 11:5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
Gen 11:6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Gen 11:7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.

These people were going to succeed in what they had imagined to do if it was not against the will of God. God testified that nothing would restrain them from what they had imagined. So He had to stop them Himself. Whatever you can imagine or visualize and get it in your heart, it shall be yours. See what the Word of God talks about. Then when you pray it out, power to collect it physically will be released. You cannot be stopped by anybody.

2) Woman with the issue of blood

Mar 5:25  And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
Mar 5:26  And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
Mar 5:27  When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
Mar 5:28  For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
Mar 5:29  And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
Mar 5:34  And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

This woman suffered for a long time. Having an issue of blood for twelve years is not a joke. Not twelve months, but twelve years. An issue of blood even for a week is very serious. She had gone every where she could for a solution but to no avail. She had spent all her money without help. But the Word of God brought a turnaround. When she heard about Jesus, she heard that Jesus was a Healer. She took that Word and meditated on it. We hear that she spoke to herself that if she could touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, she would be made whole. That is meditation. That is visualization. She saw herself healed before experiencing it physically. If you will see yourself possessing what God has promised in His Word, it shall be yours. If you will see it with your physical eyes closed, you shall have it as yours in the Name of Jesus. She then took steps of faith and did what she told herself she would do. And she was healed. Look at what Jesus said, “Daughter, your faith has made you whole; go in peace, and be whole of your plague. (Mark 5:34). It is her faith in Jesus that made her whole. Your faith in the Word of God can do anything for you.

3) David and Goliath
1Sa 17:45  Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.
1Sa 17:46  This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
1Sa 17:47 And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’S, and he will give you into our hands.

The Israelites were harassed by the Philistines until David who believed God intervened. It is interesting to not what David told the Philistine. He told Goliath what was going to happen to him and his people before it actually happened. What do you think happened? David spent time with God. He knew the Word of God. He knew what God could do because of the covenant and the promises the Israelites had. Circumcision was a physical symbol or sign of the covenant God had entered into with them through Abraham. He saw in his heart God killing the Goliath. He saw his head being removed from him. That is meditating and visualization. I tell you. Whatever you can see in your heart first, you will see it happening in the physical. Just believe in God and His Word and you shall succeed in Jesus Name. Release your faith. Speak what you believe. You must do that after you have seen it in your heart.

You Can Do All Things Through Christ

There are many things we normally want to accomplish in life as a believers. There are somethings that we do not attempt because of thoughts of limitations that we have. We just think that some things are impossible and that is where we stop. But there is something interesting when we read the writing of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:11-13:

Php 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
Php 4:12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
Php 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Before showing us that a believer can do all things, Paul tells us that he learned to be content in any state of life. That is any situation that life may present. You learn contentment from situations you have gone through. He knew the highs and lows of life. Then in verse 13, Paul states, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." He says "ALL", not one thing.

By application every born again believer can do all things through Christ. Why? He energizes you. He strengthens you. The Bible tells us that as Jesus is in heaven so are we on this earth. This means inside us we have the exact power He had when He was on earth. We just need to learn to release it as believers. We place limitations upon ourselves through unbelief. So we need to deal with unbelief. How? Through prayer and fasting. Through these two exercises, we teach our natural or physical senses that there is more to life than the senses. That is why Jesus said man should not live by bread alone but also by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

In Matthew 19:26, we hear Jesus saying, "And Jesus looking upon them said to them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible." It is like Paul knew these words spoken by Jesus. If man is acting alone, things may be impossible, but with God on your side, all things are possible. You can achieve anything you desire in your life. As long as you have a strong desire to accomplish it, it is possible. Just believe. All things are possible with him who believes.

I pray that God may grant the desires you already have in your heart in the Name of Jesus Christ. All things are possible. You have strength inside you. Just believe and speak it. It is yours in Jesus Name. Be blessed!

Give no Place to the devil

God Almighty planted something beautiful in your life from the very beginning of time. That is what He wants to see growing in you. However, the devil wanted a place in a human being’s life so he could control him from the very beginning. That happened in the Garden of Eden. The enemy envied the authority and dominion God had given to man. So, once he is given an opportunity, he ensures that he uses it effectively. Below we hear the Apostle Paul speaking to the Ephesians:

Eph 4:25 Wherefore, putting away falsehood, speak ye truth each one with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.
Eph 4:26 Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:
Eph 4:27 neither give place to the devil.
Eph 4:28  Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have whereof to give to him that hath need.
Eph 4:29  Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear.

What does it mean not to give place to the devil? It means that you should not allow the devil to influence you. Never entertain him. Do not give him a chance in your life. Why? We get the reason from the Book of John 10:10 where it says, “The thief cometh not, but that he may steal, and kill, and destroy: I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.” We see from this portion of scripture that the devil, who is the Master Deceiver, came for a purpose. That purpose is contrary to that of Jesus. The devil came to steal, kill and to destroy. He came for nothing else. So that is what he wants to do in your life. He did that to Adam and Eve and he was successful.
Following are few ways that help the devil get a place in your life. These are some of his inroads among others:

1) Lying

The Bible said put away falsehood. You must always speak truth. The devil is the father of lies. If there are lies in your life, that means he has a right to access your life. He would be coming to his own. But if you stand on truth (the Word is truth) you are protected.

2) Harboring anger
Do not keep anger in your life. Ensure that you do not sin as you get angry. Anger is dangerous if it is not well controlled. You rather be angry against the devil not man. Uncontrolled anger attracts the devil and his demons. So do not harbor it.

3) Do not steal
That is what the Word is saying in the opening portion of scripture. Do not steal anything from your Employer, your neighbor, or from anybody. The devil is a thief. Instead, work with your hands so that you can have enough supplies for your needs and that you can also share with the needy. We have the nature of God who is Love. So love shares itself. Share yourself with others i.e. help other people.

4) Let no corrupt word come from your mouth

Speak the right words. Speak words that edify or build others. Do not hurt other people. Practice the golden rule. Do to others what you would want them to do to you. Speak words of faith. It is an ugly word so to speak, that comes from within that defiles a man.

You are like a garden of the Lord. The Lord planted only the good in your heart, which must be manifested on the outside. Anything contrary to the Word God was not planted by God. You have the responsibility to weed out everything that is not of God. Take care of the garden of the Lord (your life). If you do not take proper care of it, weeds will grow and what God planted will never be seen by others on the outside. Do not give place to the devil. He is an enemy. God bless you in Jesus Name!

The Success of Your Life Is In Your Hands

What is success? Success is about achieving the purpose of God for your life. It is about achieving your goals, which bring true satisfaction in your life. It is not only about money or riches. These may be part of it. Money is a tool to achieve what we are called to do in life. So our success is accomplished when we are rightly positioned with God.

Romans 12:1-2 says, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

The Apostle is speaking to the Romans. He shows them the right way of worshiping God. It is in worshiping God that our lives become a success. He points out two things from the portion of scripture we read above:

1) Present your body as a living sacrifice
2) Be transformed by the renewing of your mind

Presenting your body for the service to God can only be done by you. God demands holiness for the simple reason that He is holy. He wants you to be a pure vessel for His use. He wants to dish out the holy stuff of His kingdom to the world. His power flows easily through a holy vessel. Just imagine a water pipe supplying water being blocked with dirt, the water will not flow easily. The dirt has to be removed for easy flow.

On the other hand, presenting your body to the Lord is making yourself available to God. One day the Lord appeared to Isaiah before he became a prophet. He saw himself unclean. The Lord dealt with him. He cleansed him and the Isaiah heard the saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me."(Isaiah 6:8).
This happened after Isaiah had seen and acknowledged his condition spiritually.

I hear the Lord today asking the same question, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Present your body to God as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. Minister the Word of God wherever you are right now. Do that in your home, neighborhood, place of work, wherever you find yourself in. Then you shall see the flow of God's power in and through your life.

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind. When you got born again, your soul or mind was not changed. It is your spirit that was completely changed forever. In order to be in line with God's will, you must be changed. How? By the renewing of your mind. What can renew your mind? It is only the Word of God. The Bible says in John 6:63, "It is the spirit which gives Life. The flesh confers no benefit whatever. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and are Life." It is the words of God that give life. They are spirit. They can change the way you think.

Some of us lived an unsaved life for some time. Ungodly words spoken to us and negative things we heard affected our way of thinking. We did not believe in God. So, in order to uproot and destroy all that junk from our lives, we need the Word of God. We are what dominate our thought life. Proverbs 23:7 says, "For as he thinketh within himself, so is he..."

Once your mind has been renewed in the Word of God, you will prove the perfect will of God. You will know what God wants done at the right time. Your life will be properly ordered. Your life will become a success. You will also affect other lives. You do not live only for yourself. You are special and you have something to offer to this world. If you do not do it now, who will? You are not like others. No one can fully replace you. So rise up and be counted for the Lord. You are blessed in Jesus Name.
