You Are a King

Every major truth started in the Book of Genesis and final truth is in Revelation of the Bible. If you are born again, you were born in the spirit realm. The Word tells us in Revelation 1:4-6:

“John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”

You were washed from sin in the Blood of Jesus. So you are already clean. You have been made a King and a Priest. But I want to emphasize on your kingship. You are a Spiritual King. That means you were born to rule and reign. You reign over all forces of darkness that tend to oppose your life in any area.

Things that happen in the physical are controlled in the spirit world. Therefore, you need to dominate and rule in the spirit world in order to direct them on the physical. That is where your authority is. “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.”(Hebrews 11:3). The things we see were made of things that are not seen. That is the spirit world. You were created in the image of God and made in His likeness. That means you have His nature and you function like Him. That is how God sees you whether or not you function in it.

Therefore, take charge of your life. Look at these points about a king:

1) A King does not beg.

2) A King issues decrees to have things done

So stop making those beggarly prayers. You do not have to beg. You pray to the Father in the Name of Jesus if you want something. You do not pray to Jesus. Why? Here on earth you are standing in the place of Jesus. You have the authority of Jesus. When you speak to God it is as if Jesus is speaking to God. So you can’t pray and ask for things from Jesus. But you can fellowship with Him.

You issue a decree as a king. So you need to occupy your position. The Word tells us that you shall decree a thing and it shall be established. So you need to grow up in order to effectively exercise your authority. Galatians 4:1 says, “Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all.” As long as you are a child you will operate like a servant. Servants beg for things. “As long as…,” shows that you can operate as a child forever. Take responsibility for your life and decree things that were freely given to you through Jesus Christ.

Remember, you are a King. You were born so. You were restored. It was so from the very beginning, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:28).

You were created to have dominion and to subdue. Subdue means to make something align itself with your will. You conquer it to submit its will to yours. Now I pray in the Name of Jesus Christ that you be awakened to your Kingship. May you subdue any demonic force that hinders your life in the Name of Jesus Christ. You are an overcomer. Let there be light in your life so you can see who you truly are in Christ. Be blessed in Jesus Name!
